I have to say ever since Rihanna came out with her first huge single "Pon de Replay" in 2005,  I have been a huge huge fan! I just love everything about her. She has always had an amazing VOICE and such originality.






I was very Fortunate to have had the opportunity to see her in concert. She came to Salt Lake City 2 years ago with Kanye West for his "Glow in the Dark Tour"- Here are some pics from that day:

To me, Rihanna is everything I feel a true artist should represent. She is original, she has an amazing voice and not to forget an amazing style. She is a good person and stays true to her roots and I must say, she truly is my present day Idol in the music industry.

2011... A new Rhythm to Life

So this Year I spent it with my Fam. Mainly just my Parents. Its tradition for me now. I rarely go out and Party with Friends on New Years unless its after 1 am or something. (Most of you may think this is lame but honestly I have a blast every year. Lol) I usually just love being with my crazy, loud family. I love them so much.

I am so excited about this New Year. I have set a lot of Goals and I am so excited that soon after I get well, I will be able to start on achieving them. I think 2011 is gonna be the YEAR were I will be able to make some big changes not only for myself but for my loved ones as well. My family is the most important thing to me and I am hoping and really looking forward to every moment I get to spend with them.

One huge event we are planning for is... We will be going to visit our old hometown NEW JERSEY in October of this year. It is my Grandmother Teresa's 70th birthday and I cant wait to see all of our family over there. I miss them so much and I just am so excited for everything we are gonna be doing over there. One of the great things that I am preparing for is the song I will be dedicating to my abuela while we are there. I am going to surprise her and sing for her at her Birthday.

There are so many other things that we are looking forward to and a lot of things that will be changing this year. So, we shall see what other surprises this year brings. Mucho Amor- Sherry
